A highly experienced Loyalty and Customer Experience practitioner, Shawn is a strong advocate of an insight driven approach to orchestrate and deliver delightful customer experiences across relevant channels throughout the engagement journey.Shawn has more than 20 years of professional experience.  He graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management, from University of

Oregon, USA.  In 2003, he started a career path in loyalty marketing, joining a company specializing in loyalty program services.  Launched & managed more than 20 loyalty and digital marketing programs across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and China, some of which are Fortune 500 companies.  He has worked with clients across many industry verticals including Telco, Airlines, Oil and Gas,
Retail, Media, FMCG, Banking and Insurance. He was involved in strategy and planning, customer success and service delivery, management, research, and operations for many coalition and private label loyalty programs in the region.

Shawn has helped organize loyalty conferences in the APAC region, bringing speakers from across the globe to share loyalty strategies and perspectives from different regions.

During his early stint with clients, he saw how organizations struggled with customer engagement (pre-digital years) due to the high cost of postal and call centre services. Learning from best of breed global technology leaders, he set up Interactive Rewards in 2011 with the mission to bring the best of loyalty and customer engagement practices to the industry, seeking to overcome existing communication gaps with an insight-driven, omni-channel, personalized, and journey-based automated approach.
